We are a group of epidemiologists and health service researchers with special interest in vision and eye health. Our work has covered public health aspects of eye service provision as well as more specific policy issues in services for the visually impaired. Our members have also led major MRC-funded clinical trials, case-control investigations and follow-up studies of risk factors for disorders leading to visual impairment. We are particularly strong in the design and construction of databases, data collection and analysis.
